Abstract
Drug-induced bullous pemphigoid (DIBP) is a kind of autoimmune bullous disease caused by systemic or local use of drugs and characterized by vesicles and bullae. The causative drugs are various, including antibiotics, diureticum and angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitors, etc. The pathogenesis is unclear at present, but is considered to be different from that of idiopathic bullous pemphigoid (BP),and varies among DIBP induced by different drugs.DIBP is somewhat different from idiopathic BP in clinical manifestations, but similar to idiopathic BP in clinical laboratory findings. Therefore, clinicians should pay attention to potential causative drugs in patients with DIBP,and stop the use of suspected drugs when necessary.
