Abstract

The current Monitoring the Future (MTF) survey from the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) is full of mainly good news: continued decreases in teen use of cigarettes, alcohol, prescription opioids, and synthetic cannabinoids. The level of marijuana use has not gone down, however, with 6% of 12th graders using it on a daily basis — the same figure for 2015 as for 2014.
