Abstract

Objectives: To investigate the influence of drug properties on the selection preference of antihypertensive drugs in patients with hypertension and the preference of Levamlodipine Besylate Tabletsin patients with hypertension. Methods: From April 2018 to June 2018, 1 467 hypertensive patients taking antihypertensive drugs in five hospitals in Suzhou were selected. Eighteen drug selection sets were designed by using discrete selection experiment (DCE) to investigate the selection of drugs by hypertensive patients. The influence of six drug attributes on patients’ drug preference was analyzed by using conditional Logistic regression model. Results: The six drug attributes included in the study have an impact on the drug selection preference of patients with hypertension (all P<0.05), and the three factors that have a greater impact are the effect of cardiocerebral and renal protection, the effect of blood pressure reduction and adverse reactions in turn. However, the effects of step-down speed, daily cost and action time are less. Conclusions: Compared with the three control drugs, Levamlodipine Besylate antihypertensive drugs are more likely to be selected. The results of this study providecertain reference basis for the development of antihypertensive drugs and patients' selection of antihypertensive drugs.
