The government runs the national insurance organization, and healthcare for the military, universities, and government workers and those employed in government owned businesses. Ninety percent of drugs are produced domestically and drug registration is a large endeavor. Prices are controlled by the State with a 15% margin permitted. An agreed-upon formula is used.
