Computer-aided drug design (CADD) methods have been developing rapidly and promise to continue doing so. The pharmaceutical research environment is becoming increasing challenging. Researchers are required to identify high quality molecules to hit challenging therapeutic targets and to do it on a shorter time scale than ever.
