Abstract
We report a bendable biomimetic micro-lens array with the same ommatidium size and arrangement as adult drosophila. Optical design realizes a curved compound eye mimicking lens array with ideal imaging performance. By means of framework optimization and two-photon polymerization, we reappear 1:1 drosophila compound eye optical structure using photoresist and PDMS. Compared with the previous methods, this approach mainly focuses on the accurate bionics of drosophila compound eyes biological structure, combined with high precision and repeatability. It opens up opportunities for further comprehension of drosophila vision and bionic study of drosophila behavioristics.
