Abstract

Controlling system is the core of electric vehicles. Performance of the controller determines the character of the whole system. Based on the research of driving and regenerating circuit topology for permanent brushless DC motor (BLDCM), regenerating braking electric vehicle controller is designed. In order to improve the stability and reliability of the system, fuzzy-sliding mode control algorithm is applied to the current loop of the speed-current double closed loop system. Experiment and simulation results show that fuzzy-sliding mode controller outperforms traditional PID controller on resisting perturbation , steady-state error, response speed and the extend of mileage in one time charging to the battery.
