Abstract
On the basis of the combination of lumped parameter method of systematic dynamics and finite element method of structural dynamics, a simulation model that synthesises each part and non-linear factors such as clutch friction characteristics, multi-stage stiffness of torsional damper, gear backlashes and tyre longitudinal characteristics of the driveline system was established. With the systematic-structural dynamics hybrid model, the shudder phenomenon during clutch engaging process and low-frequency shuffle after engagement along with clonk phenomenon were reproduced when the vehicle was in launch condition. Then, the influencing factors of clutch engagement process, gear backlash and the pre-damper stiffness were analysed.
