Different coloured ready-mixed paint in squeezy bottles; small bowls and teaspoons; items for making tracks and patterns in the paint – toy tractors, pastry wheels, plastic pan scourers, sponges, old toothbrushes, wellies; large sheets or strips of paper (the back of unpasted wallpaper works well); a large plastic mat.
