Abstract

Three simple drimane-type sesquiterpenoids and two drimane sesquiterpenic ethers of isocitric acid were isolated from Cryptoporus volvatus infected by the fungus Paecylomyces varioti. The ether bond of cryptoporic acids obtained from fresh C. volvatus, were cleaved by P. varioti to give simple drimane sesquiterpenoids.
