Abstract

Introduction/Background: We report a case of DRESS (Drug Reaction with Eosinophilia and Systemic Symptoms) syndrome, potentially life-threatening disorder characterized by cutaneous findings with internal organ involvement following exposure to an offending drug. With an incidence of only 0.9/100,000 adults, and thought to be more uncommon in children, DRESS is a rare, but potentially serious, condition.
