Abstract
We discuss the Drell-Yan model for dimuon production with measured dimuon transverse momentum. We calculate the leading effect on the dimuon Q T distribution arising from the first corrections to the q ∗+ q ∗-→γ ∗+ X Green function in axial gauge quantum chromodynamics. These corrections are found to be negligible in the appropriate high-energy limit. We also present a useful theorem for transforming between transverse momentum and position in the high-energy limit.
