Abstract
Archaeological excavations under the author’s supervision at the Middleborough Little League Site in southeastern Massachusetts have provided a wealth of data about Native American activities over an 8,000 year time span. The author has recorded a total of 350 dreams about the site throughout the 20 seasons of its excavation (1996-2020). These are analyzed through a number of theoretical lenses. It is concluded that, while some of the dreams in this long horizontal set may be said to confirm each of these perspectives, no theory is able to explain all of them satisfactorily.
