Abstract

The article discusses the use of a blood test for diagnosing tuberculosis, developed by medical professor Purvesh Khatri and colleagues at Stanford University. Emphasis is given to topics such as the analysis of bacteria in sputum and mucus, the cost of testing in developing countries, and a patent for the blood testing.
