Dravidian opinion in the view of Ka. Sivathambi

Abstract

Dravidian ideology has long dominated the history of modern Tamil society. This opinion has grown to the point where it is popularly accepted and won on the electoral path. Therefore, knowing about the development of Dravida is important for everyone. Furthermore, two different perspectives / philosophies are essential to interacting and interacting with one another in the journey to a healthier society. In that sense, the discussions between the Dravidian movement and the Marxists are interesting. Among them, the Marxist scholar Professor Ka. Sivathambi's comments are noteworthy. who wanted to fully understand the Tamil community, continued to talk about Dravidar. He approached the historical development of the Dravidian movement along with the problem for the Tamil community. An attempt is being made here to understand the Dravidian movement based on his book Today's Appropriation of the Dravidian Movement Concept - A Historical Perspective (1999).
