Abstract
As MHW was going to press, the final outcome of California's hotly debated Proposition 1 measure to dramatically alter the state's mental health service delivery system remained in doubt. For most of election night on March 5 and into the following morning, the proposal that would earmark more Mental Health Services Act funding for the development of housing was holding a razor‐thin lead.
