Abstract
Interest in a study of nonaxisymmetric aircraft noses has arisen in recent years. In this article we will examine elongated noses with an n-ray star in the initial section which then smoothly passes into a circular maximum cross section, and we will obtain the drag formula for these bodies in the case of low supersonic velocities for the usual assumptions of the linear theory.
