Abstract
In the death of Dr. W. J. Turrell, the medical profession will see the loss of one of the British pioneers in Medical Electrology. He became interested in this subject while in general practice and very soon devoted all his energies to it. His success as a leader in this speciality was undoubtedly due to the profound study he made of physics, coupled with an inventive genius and a keen sense of the practical.
