Down going muons

Abstract

Recent measurements observed by different groups indicate that the muon intensities are 10% – 15% lower than observed in earlier measurements. Changing dependencies of these intensities as a function of zenith angle make it difficult to precisely understand these data. Integral muon intensities at different underwater depths are compared with muon intensities on the surface. The observed differences are the subject of this paper.
