Abstract
US-based Dow Chemical Co and Mitsui & Co Ltd of Tokyo, Japan, have signed a definitive agreement to form a 50:50 manufacturing joint venture to construct, own and operate a membrane-based chlor-alkali facility on the US Gulf Coast. It will be located at Dow's integrated manufacturing complex in Freeport, Texas.
