Abstract

Thoracic chest wall invasion can cause pain sometimes refractory to analgesic. There is no specific general agreement concerning its treatment, and specialized symptomatic treatments can be envisaged. We offer, from a review of literature and our clinical experience, an algorithm for taking care of this condition worked out within a working party as part of the “Societe francaise d’etude et de traitement de la douleur” and by “l’Association francophone pour les soins oncologiques de support.”
