Abstract

The paper demonstrates that it is possible to obtain reproducible holographic interferometric fringe patterns of the soft tissue of the upper extremities under the influence of exogenous vibration in vivo applied to the hand. This is done by triggering the double-pulsed ruby laser and by controlling the excitation conditions using accelerometers and FFT-analysing techniques. Excitation was made at three frequencies: 37 Hz, 76 Hz and 152 Hz. The double-pulsed ruby-laser time-separation setting were 10 and 200 us. The results are presented as images of the superimposed fringe patterns of the subject in the holograms, displacement functions recorded by the accelerometers during holographic recordings with laser-pulse occurrence displayed, and force and acceleration values in tabular form.The paper demonstrates that it is possible to obtain reproducible holographic interferometric fringe patterns of the soft tissue of the upper extremities under the influence of exogenous vibration in vivo applied to the hand.
