Abstract

Modified Magnetic-Equivalent-Circuit for a Double-Cage-Induction Machine is presented in this paper while rotor skewing, time and also space harmonics are considered. Pole numbers, rotor bars and slot numbers can be selected arbitrarily and saturable machine is simulated. To presenting of Modified magnetic equivalent circuit, a single set of the system equations including both magnetic and electric equations are obtained and then, they are solved by numerical method. Differential equations are converted into algebraic equations using trapezoidal technique and are solved together with non-linear magnetic equations simultaneously, which is the main novelty of the presented method. Finally, effectiveness of the proposed method is verified using Finite-Element-Method via Flux software.
