Abstract

Double remedies in the non-market economy (“NME”) context can be regarded as one of the most controversial issues arising from the simultaneous application of both anti-dumping and countervailing duties. In recent years, China has been the most frequent target of anti-dumping and countervailing duty investigations. This paper examines how double remedies come into being in the NME context such as China, and explores its origin, harm, and solutions.
