Abstract

The effect of the Coulomb repulsion between the two ejected electrons on the angle-resolved cross section is examined; it is shown that in the general case the effective-charge approximation is not in agreement with solutions of the three-body Schrodinger equation with the appropriateasymptotic boundary conditions, and an approach is proposed in order to introduce the electron repulsion in the calculation of the sixfold differential cross section d 6 σ 2+ /d 3 kd 3 k'
