Abstract
Tb-doped CaGdAlO4 crystals were investigated and showed photoluminescence peaks due to Tb3+. Likewise, multiple emission peaks derived from Tb3+ were detected in the optically stimulated luminescence. According to the thermally stimulated luminescence dose response, the detection limit was 1 µGy which was superior to several commercial dosimeters.
