Abstract
Radiation-sensitive polymer gels are among the most promising three-dimensional dose verification tools and tissue equivalent phantom developed to date. In this study, changes in the characteristics of MAGIC gel from the perspective of tissue equivalence and dose sensitivity were examined. In this paper, the dose responses of the MAGIC gel with various concentrations and type of saccharide are examined to clarify the roles of mono- and di-saccharide in the polymerization process. Then we focused on the tissue equivalence and dose sensitivity of MAGIC gel dosimeters.
