Abstract
1. Three main zones can be differentiated in this building. The safety section (strong rooms, control and vigilance of valuables, etc.), which is situated underground; the public section (ground and first floors); and the working staff departments, where operations, research and administrative tasks are attended to. These are located in the four top floors. This bank is one of the most important new features of the city, and helps towards the formation of a civic centre, involving the National Financial Centre. 2. In the second bank, the ground floor is taken up with public rooms and halls. The second floor contains the executive offices, and the remaining standard floors are available to let. At the top of the building there is a staff club. Some of the main features of this block are the sound use of the ground site, the plastic quality of the external surfaces, and the flexibility of the internal distribution.

2. En este edificio, la planta baja alberga los espacios públicos del Banco; en la entreplanta están situadas las oficinas ejecutivas del mismo; y las restantes plantas «tipo» han sido dedicadas al «alquiler»; en la parte superior del edificio está situado el Club para los empleados del Banco.
Este conjunto ha tenido que construirse en dos fases: En la primera fase ha sido erigido el Edificio Sede (recientemente terminado), que servirá de asiento a las funciones más representativas del Banco.
ÍEn la segunda fase será construido el elemento Torre que, además de satisfacer las futuras necesidades del Banco Central de Venezuela, servirá para instalar dependencias complementarias a dicha Entidad.
