Abstract
The aim of the study was to assess relationship of results of 24-h ambulatory blood pressure (24-h ABPM) monitoring on the parameters of renal hemodynamic in hypertensive patients. The renal hemodynamic was evaluated by ultrasound Doppler. The glomerular filtration rate (on a clearance of endogenous creatinine) has been measured out before and after the acute oral protein loading for evaluation of renal functional reserve. The results of one-way ANOVA showed, that the «blood pressure load index» – areas under systolic and diastolic blood pressure curves and systolic and diastolic blood pressure-time index 24 h' influenced extremely negatively on renal pulsating index. These data and their values of 24-h ABPM may be useful for the clinical assessment of hypertensive patient by identifying those at high risk for the presence of renal injury.
