Abstract

In the series of researches about dopant distribution in alkali halide single crystals grown from melt by the Czochralski method, first, we began with the growth of pure crystals and then doped crystals with different dopants and studied the status of dopants distribution in crystals. Then we tried to uniform dopant distribution in single crystals after the end of their growth process using solid-state diffusion. Concentration profiles showed that heat treatment was successful for the uniformization of Ag distribution in NaCl crystals. For the proceeding of studies, we tried to found how we can obtain single crystals with uniform distributions of dopant during their growth. The results of this research lead to suggestions that can be used after the preparation of the required equipment in later stages.
