Abstract

Purpose: Donor milk is an alternative to formula for supplementation that has documented health benefits in sick preterm infants. Our institution began providing donor milk to healthy newborns in the well-baby nursery in July, 2013, initially by self-pay and then beginning in August, 2014 with funding from an internal grant.
