Abstract

ONCLUSIONS: Tacrolimus monotherapy was effective in preenting rejection of facial composite allografts, but was associated ith donor-derived PTLD development. Conversion to rapamycin as not effective in preventing CTA rejection. Fibular composite llografts had minimal vascularized bone marrow, and while tacrolius monotherapy did not prevent loss of skin, no PTLD tumors eveloped. This is suggestive of association between amount of vasularized allogeneic bone marrow and PTLD development.
