Abstract
The Baie de Loya has been considered for a long time as a continuous Upper Cretaceous section. Detailed micropaleontologic (planktonic foraminifera, calcareous nannofossils) and magnetostrati-graphic studies show a tectonic duplication of the Campanian series.
