Abstract
Abstract The condition of women has changed a lot throughout history, but nowadays some stereotyps and forms of discrimination are the same as in the past. On 17 November 2023, a conference was held in University of Milan, during which the theme of female empowerment was analysed by many different points of view. Particular attention was paid to the “paelex”, female figure object of study in the works of Ferdinando Zuccotti.
