Abstract
The numerous interactions Elizabeth Dooley, Ph.D., has had with students, faculty, researchers, and community leaders during a 30‐year career in higher education prepared her well for her experiences since being appointed provost at the University of Central Florida last October. But Dooley never would claim to have an answer to every scenario that might arise, and she carries a message of inclusiveness to others who are new to the provost's role.
