Abstract
A domain decomposition method using optimal transmission condition was presented. Nonconforming discretization between different domains could be glued together with mortar techniques. The method was first validated by comparing the antenna patterns of small Vivaldi arrays with those of the finite-element-boundary integral (FE-BI) method. It has also been successfully applied to solve large finite antenna arrays on a single PC, which might require more than 100 million unknowns.
