Abstract
Dolutegravir (Tivicay—ViiV Healthcare), the second integrase strand transfer inhibitor (INSTI) for treating HIV-1 infection, has received FDA approval. Dolutegravir blocks HIV replication by preventing viral DNA from integrating into the genetic material of immune cells.
