Her career spans over 30 years of research, consulting and teaching in environmental science, with a focus in the past two decades on conservation biology, landscape ecology, restoration ecology, environmental impact assessment, and ecological monitoring. Carla has been active in several scientific societies and is currently President of the Ecological Society of Australia.
