Abstract

Introduction: Mankind and dogs entered a symbiotic relationship around 15,000 years ago. Over time, humans learnt to domesticate dogs. At present, ¼ of UK households keep dogs. However, despite thousands of years of training, can a leopard truly change its spots? The aim of this study is to explore whether dog bite injuries poses a much larger threat than appreciated.
