Abstract

Studies assessing sperm quality of subjects identifying themselves as homosexuals were published in the medical literature with conflicting results. These studies were conducted before the WHO laboratory manual for the examination of human semen and sperm–cervical mucus interaction was first published in 1980. We sought to evaluate whether sexual orientation affects sperm parameters.
