Abstract

To improve health care access, the Veterans Health Administration (VHA) began establishing community-based outpatient clinics (CBOCs). Previous research has found that longer travel time leads to worse outcomes. We hypothesized that a similar effect of increased travel distance would be associated with increased arteriovenous graft complications.
