Abstract

Low-dose aspirin (ASA) and Helicobacter pylori infection can cause peptic ulcer bleeding (PUB) by different mechanisms. But is the incidence of PUB in ASA users affected by presence of H. pylori ? To find out, investigators in Hong Kong prospectively followed three cohorts of ASA users every 3 to 6 months for up to 10 years:
