Evidence-Based Answer In general, cranberry products do not appear to prevent recurrent urinary tract infections (UTIs) in women (SOR: B, Cochrane review and consistent RCTs with methodological flaws). However, there may be a small benefit for women older than 50 years (SOR: C, subgroup analysis in small RCT).
