In this study, 1715 adolescents were included from the Swedish population–based prospective birth cohort BAMSE, which consists of 4089 children born between 1994 and 1996 in the Stockholm area. These children were managed up to the age of 16 years with questionnaires and clinical examinations. The mean age of adolescents was 16.6 years at the time they answered their questionnaires and 15.9 years when receiving their final school grades.
