Abstract

Hyaluron supplementation of culture medium has been suggested to enhance cryo-survival of bovine blastocyst stage embryos. All of the previous studies involved slow controlled rate freezing of bovine blastocysts using a programmable freezer. The current work examines post-thaw survival of mouse blastocysts frozen by a slow programmed freeze protocol and by vitrification on cryoloops with hyaluron in the cryoprotectant medium.
