Abstract

Billing the Department of Defense for prescriptions for people who were ineligible for those benefits — 6 to 20 per week — and giving out too many controlled substances in extremely large amounts without any controls are just two of the results reported in a blistering evaluation by the Department of Defense Office of Inspector General (DoD OIG) last week. The report is dated Jan. 8 but was not released until almost four weeks later.
