Abstract

In this paper, the direction of departure (DOD) and the direction of arrival (DOA) of multiple targets with same Doppler frequency in bistatic multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) radar are estimated based on diagonal forward space smoothing (DFSS) combining with estimating signal parameters via rotation invariance techniques (ESPRIT). Firstly, the signal model with Doppler frequency of bistatic MIMO radar is introduced. Secondly, DFSS_ESPRIT is used for decoherence and angle estimation. Simulation results show that the proposed method can estimate the DOD and DOA of multiple coherent targets, which verifies the effectiveness of the method.
