Abstract

The article considers a hand-written fragment in Chinese obtained in Khara-Khoto during P. K. Kozlov’s expedition in 1907–1909 and now preserved in Institute of Oriental Manuscripts of the Russian Academy of Sciences. The document in scope was included by a mistake in the Dunhuang Collection (call number Дх-1403). Despite the document having been known to the scientific society for a long time, to this day there have been no publications in Russian proposing complete reading of the text and its translation, while the existent catalogue descriptions contained inaccuracies. The present article fills this gap: it suggests the text of the fragment, annotated translation and research, as well as the bibliographic references on its Russian and foreign publications.
