Abstract
Aims: Female gender is known as an independent predictor of operative mortality after coronary artery bypass graft surgery (CABG). The minimized extracorporeal circulation (MECC) has been described as an alternative to conventional extracorporeal circulation (ECC). We examined the clinical outcomes of females undergoing CABG with ECC or MECC.
