Abstract

Purpose: Dry eyes (DE) associated with computers and video display terminals have been well reported in the past, with a resulting decrease in blink rate. With the increasing interest in computer games, the aim of this study was to evaluate if the decreased blink rate, during a video game session, evaporated the tear film so as to change its characteristics.
